On June 16th, 2018, our founding guitarist, friend and brother, Jay R. Schlink Jr., passed away from an aggressive form of cancer. Upon making the decision to reform the band in early 2019, the group agreed to carry on under the "Feeling Lucky" banner. While deliberating band names for weeks, it was Jay who first who suggested "Feeling Lucky" and we feel as though continuing with the name he coined is a small tribute to our eternal bandmate. We will think of Jay every night when we have the privilege of taking the stage and performing. R.I.P., Jay.
